It’s back to school time! August is COVD’s Vision and Learning month, dedicated to spreading the word about the connection between–you guessed it– vision and learning! With school right around the corner, we encourage parents to bring their child in for a developmental visual exam and set them up for success!

Our doctors will check for everything that a regular optometrist would PLUS perform additional tests to see how your child’s vision may be affecting their performance in and out of school. A school screening will not test for or detect these issues that could interfere with your child’s learning. This checklist will give you an idea of some symptoms that could be caused by visual problems.
